A minimally relabeled ex-NYC E8 and two cars make up Penn Central New York-Albany train #81 at Garrison, NY, on a summer morning. It's passing a northbound freight that's stopped on the other track with some sort of problem that has led to a separation. The long string of empty refrigerator cars behind #81 are headed west after delivering food to the the New York market.
