In a land of contrasts, this eastbound has been visible for a while; seemingly in slow motion as it crosses the vast plains. As it nears its speed becomes evident then all of a sudden the 1102 with 94 cars comes rumbling across Canyon Diablo and beneath the Santa Fe era signals - that are sorely missed. Fuji Astia.
