Season Greetings (for the last season?). The Loop Trolley in St. Louis, MO has been operating for a little over a year, but will perhaps be shut down for good in several days. Car 001, was built in 1991 by Gomaco for Portland, OR. It went to back to Gomaco for some modifications before joining the Loop fleet in November, 2018. Infrequent service, a funding crisis and poor public relations have plagues the line, which will end service on December 29, 2019 without some kind of interventions. While Bi-State transit is investigating taking over the line from the non-profit Loop Trolley, no commitments have yet been made.
