Remarks & Notes |
Only in Canada? A CP sulfur train rolls west on CN trackage above the Thompson River as it nears Lytton, BC. This area of the canyon is especially challenging for CN to maintain. the train is going UNDER a creek, through a tight curved cut, and approaching sheer cliffs and a trio of slide sheds/tunnels designed to keep the perpetual debris off the tracks. CN often has a work train assigned out of Spences Bridge to come to this location to clear bebris not handled by the sheds. Just around the corner from the shed the train will go through a short tunnel as it winds its way toward Lytton. |
