| While a true classic Tri Rail consist would be an F40PH but really an F40PHL-2 leading a trio of bombardier coaches, the GP49PH-3 works just as well. This scene is becoming harder to see in recent times as the GP49's days are likely numbered with the rebuilt F40s back and in service. TRCX 815 is one of three GP49PH-3s that are still in service with Tri Rail as of mid August 2021, the other two being 812 and 817, all of which are rather dirty and worn out. |
