Remarks & Notes

Following its rescue from display adjacent to the passenger depot in Cheyenne, UP 3985 was restored for service. In March of 1981 it made its first test run on the mainline - handling a short consist to LaSalle, CO and return. This stylish beauty has always been my favorite of UP Steam.
