Remarks & Notes

Idling away in the Union Pacific’s former Western Pacific yard in Oakland are UP SD40-2 3373 (built 3/77) and UP SD40-2 3916 (ex-MP 6016; née-MP 3232; built 8/76). Before long, these locomotives will be taking freights eastbound out of the Bay Area. (Oakland, California – June 23, 1988)
