GMO 103A heads up Amtrak's State House passenger train at Joliet, IL in May 1974. The venerable E7 was among the oldest of hand me down locos put into service on Amtrak at the May 1971 start up. Here the train is partially blocking the ICG/ATSF/Rock Island crossing as passengers board at Joliet Union Station. The Joliet Tower is just behind the GMO 103A, and the diamonds appeared to be in need of some attention.
