| Photo: R. Cody Erben. I'm certain this is my son's picture as I recall I had worked all night on the RR and when I came home to rest, he took the car and headed off for the RR. A westbound empty set has just cleared as a former C&NW SD50 leads a newer AC unit around the last curve for some 16 miles to the west as the train approaches Fremont, NE on a summer morning. The imposing Troxel grain elevator has originated more than a few grain trains over the years. |
