Remarks & Notes
A southbound Sunrail commuter train crosses the St. John's river over the former Atlantic Coast Line drawbridge in Lake Monroe. Just visible behind the bridge to the right is the historic Lake Monroe Bridge, which used to carry US Highways 17/92 across the river. Built in 1933, it was the first electric swing bridge in the state and saw continuous use until 1994, when it was replaced by the concrete structure we see in this image.
