Sheepscot Valley narrow gauge. The north wind is whipping and the air is frigid as officials from the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway ride the varnish on a "Director's Special" inspection tour of the line from Wiscasset to Albion, Maine.

This image was captured during a February, 2024 photo shoot at Maine's Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum, which featured the museum's entire, 3.2 mile line from Sheepscot, all the way to Trout Brook. The train seen here is pictured northbound at Albee's Field, not far south of Milepost 7.
