Remarks & Notes
This experimental lightweight articulated trainset was built by Baldwin and Pullman in the 1950s for the New York Central for operation between Cleveland and Cincinnati, OH. The train was not a success and was sold to Jones Tours in 1960 for several excursions on the Pickens Railway in South Carolina. The train and locomotive were eventually scrapped at the location of this photo around 1970.
