Vladimir Lenin's funeral train is preserved in the Moscow Railway Museum. Locomotive U-127 is the only surviving locomotive of it's type, and was the Soviet Union's first and only locomotive to be preserved in a museum prior to the 1980s. The gold lettering on the smokebox reads "From the partyless to the communists." Note the large bas-relief sculpture of Lenin in the background.
