The Iowa Northern's North Crew does work in the Manly Terminal. This is the farthest north the Iowa Northern goes. The Manly Yard used to be a small little operation with an interchange point with the Union Pacific, but now it is a big time operation for the IANR, expanded to meet more and more customer's needs. I didn't realize the the Rock island E-units were outside on a back track deep within the yard, but cool surprise. I haven't been up here in years, but I got a few shots in, and chatted with the trainmaster while the Manly Switcher and North Crew get the work done to get the North Train out here and heading south.
