ELS 1223 has just arrived at Ontonagon, MI in July of 2000. Soon it will be switching the large paper mill in town. Unfortunately, the mill closed and much of this line has been torn up.

FRVR 1702 leads a southbound freight near Campbellsport, WI in July of 1992. The farm makes a fine background for what I always considered the forgotten regional RR. This line is now a bike trail.... (more)

Amtrak 395 brings a northbound Hiawatha past the burned out remains of Lake Tower in Milwaukee, WI in June of 1989. The tower was out-of-service when vandals burned it.
