The last Missabe painted Tunnelmotor speeds under Highway 33 with ore empties for Unitac. A fitting way to end our vacation on the former DMIR.

Four days of rain helped to greatly to lower the fire danger in northern Minnesota. Here Missabe 403 rolls past the site of a small grass fire where the grass is starting to regenerate.

The last maroon tunnel motor leads empties into Mintac under a mid April snow shower.

Just about to pull onto the Missabe Sub, this empty tac train led by everyones favorite engine winds its way around the last leg of the Iron Range Sub.
