Coast Starlight detour train #11 rolls south through Mojave Yard on Union Pacific's Mojave Subdivision. The reroute was due to bridge replacement in Santa Barbara, CA.

The southbound Coast Starlight detoured down the Valley line and over the Tehachapi mountains with Mr Gunn's inspection car on the rear.

Back to a big train, the Southbound Coast Starlight crosses the Alameda Creek Trestle, about 15 minutes late with AMTK 198 leading. Now, who thinks this shot belongs on a calander for Amtrak?!?
