C&TS 488 and 487 rest at the Chama engine house prior to leading a triple-header photo freight (with #489) over Cumbres Pass the following day.

The 315 leaves town with a short freight as the 487 takes on water so it can follow with its train.

A heavy rain caught the days run coming down from Cumbres. The crew is breaking up the passenger cars, as 488 will be moving to the service shop.

Chama night life. The 487 poses for some night shots. This will be the power for the Christmas Train the following day.
