NS Bellevue yard wouldn't take them, so the Wheeling transfer train is tied down on the interchange and the crew on their rest waiting for Bellevue yard to handle them while my Subaru waits also.

All is quiet today at Rook Yard as power lay's over till the next trip.

Wheeling 271 heads south through Navarre at Canal Street during its return trip from Canton to Brewster. Today's power is a pair of ex-SOU GP35s (2660 + 2645).

Former SOU 2651. These units never were that great, but they sure had a lot of character. When they would actually run they were tough little engines.
