A Western Maryland GP40-2 leads an eastbound train through Washington, DC. This is taken in the vicinity of the Metro Rhode Island Avenue-Brentwood station.
In the spring of 2000, I was on a class trip in which we visited Union Station to eat dinner. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some snapshots of one of Amtrak's busiest terminals.
