When I saw a whisp of smoke coming from the U28B's, I thought one was being fired up for service. Unfortunately it was the scrapper's torch ending the life of another U-Boat.
TTI northbound helpers head north through the first of two tunnels on TTI's former L&N Maysville branch. This particular tunnel is the Pleasant Valley tunnel and was built in 1908.
PAL's University of Kentucky painted GP38-2 at Oak Street Yard. Paired with PAL 3811, the two units will soon be going to work on the "Night Local" between Louisville and Elizabethtown.
