Santa Fe's first four GP30s 1201, 1200, 1203 & 1202 are stopped with an eastbound freight at Joliet. All of the other freights that day had been behind GP20 units and these new diesels were a real delight. They have a little road film on the trucks but they still smelled like fresh enamel. The box car slogan says it all. |
