Remarks & Notes
Saginaw Timber/Polson Logging 2 is seen under steam during Snow Train 2000 at the Mid Continent Railway Museum; it's getting ready to make a run up the line to Quartzite Lake. In the evening the train crew would discover water weeping around the firebox door sheet; further inspections would reveal that the door sheet had cracked. The engine hasn't run since, but it's boiler and firebox have been rebuilt in the last few years, and its frame and running gear are right now receiving some much-needed attention. This privately-owned engine should be back in steam within the next year or two.
