Less than a year before shutting down their Pacific extension, Milwaukee Road crews in the West made a valiant effort to keep things moving. Here a pair of SD10s support a trio of SD40-2s on their climb up Snoqualmie Pass at Mine Creek trestle. It will be a slow trip to St. Paul.
