Remarks & Notes
New Haven EP-5 class electric 376 leads train 173, the Boston-Washington Senator, as it is framed by the Stratford, CT, station on a bleak spring day. This building, which still stands in 2020, is one of the oldest surviving stations anywhere, built by the New York & New Haven RR in 1853.
