Remarks & Notes
A magnificent blue sky, pretty palm trees and a steam train in action, here are all the necessary ingredients to make a beautiful photo and make the photographer happy. Only one thing is missing to make the situation perfect .... A small mojito bar along the track !!!! #1334 from the Obdulio Morales sugar mill is a 1920 Baldwin. The locomotive was built as Caibarien & Moron Railway #14. This line has one of the most interesting and historic railroad operations in Cuba. Until 1971 it was part of a system linked by the common carrier Caibarien & Moron Railway, which hauled freight, passengers and sugar cane over the uncommon gauge of 27 1/2 inches (705 mm).
