Remarks & Notes

A short passenger special of deadhead equipment is returning to Cheyenne, WY on a summer afternoon. The train has crossed the Loup River in Columbus, NE and is seen at MP 84.5 as it enters a stretch of tangent track extending virtually uninterrupted to Grand Island, 60 miles distant. Fuji Velvia.
