A slower coal train sits in the hole waiting on a faster time freight to pass. The classic signals are soon history as their replacements lay trackside waiting to be installed.

The silence of the night is broken by this passing train on a very remote strech of the Pokey.

It gives me chills watching trains here and thinking about the history of the yard.
