Empty autos are still rolling down the Cuesta Grade. I was briefly home in San Luis Obispo and able to catch a train rolling down the mini horse curve on route to a crew change in SLO.
It isn't the coastline but if you squint your eyes it almost looks as if 4449 is heading into Ventura as it flies along the Fallbridge Subdivision.

As folks sit at a crawl in work hour traffic, Portland & Westerns 664 makes good time leaving Vancouver for Albany today.
I was able to find much on this locomotive besides that it seems to have most likely worked at the ARCO refinery in Blaine, Wa. UPY 1147 still awaits a future in its SP patch-job paint.
