A nice afternoon as CN 2020 heads north to load iron ore.

Rounding the bend on the west wye as U788 comes off the Iron Range sub and heads north.

Coming off the Iron Range sub and passing through the west leg of the wye at Iron Jct. and making the turn to get on the CN Missabe sub headed to the Minntac plant.

A frosty morning as iron ore moves towards Two Harbors.

After dumping crude ore loads at the plant, the skies have cleared as the sun sets for the return trip back to the mine.

Coming down the Missabe sub with crude ore loads just barely dodging cloud shadows along the way.

While the scenery is blah on an early spring morning, the freshy washed leader certainly adds a pop of color.

Approaching Noimi Jct as they are about to come off the Minntac Sub and onto the Missabe Sub before the left turn onto the Iron Range Sub at Iron Jct. for the remainder of the trip home.

A clean leader leads a trio of dash 8s and 145 cars of iron ore pellets off the Minntac property as the roll towards Two Harbors, MN to complete the trip.
