A westbound "Hill Job" has just weighed its train of empty ore jennies and is accelerating away from the scales as it crosses Morgan Creek Trestle, just east of Eagle Mills, MI, on Sept. 8, 1986.

An eastbound LS&I "Hill Job" is undergoing its brake test at Eagle Mills, MI on Sept. 8, 1986 and will soon be headed downgrade to the ore dock with another train of taconite pellets.

The WC often turned to the LS&I for a few spare U-boats in the mid-90's during the winter months to help with heavy traffic. LS&I 3052, WC 6621 and WC 1504 head east with 114 cars on train 35.

Prior to departing Sugarcreek with the ORTA Special, Ohio Central's 2-8-0 #33 in original LS&I livery crosses paths with a horse and buggy.
