It's all better now. CN 3040 brings a northbound freight thru Burlington, WI on August 19, 2017. This area was completely underwater a few months ago due to historic flooding of the Fox River.
MILW 301 brings a freight up Lake Hill on the south side of Milwaukee, WI in March of 1971. Bob Ferge photo from my collection.
FRV 4159 brings a freight past the Kimberly, WI depot in December of 1992. This ex-CNW line provided a lot of paper traffic for the Fox River Valley RR. The depot did not last much longer though.

SOO 6017 brings a train out of the yard and past Cut-Off tower in November of 1987. The train is on the ex-Milwaukee Road mainline thru it's hometown of Milwaukee, WI.
BN 7223 heads towards Bill, WY with an empty coal train in May of 1991. It's hard to imagine this being a single track RR at one time.
Freshly painted MILW SD40-2 #142 storms past the tower at Lake on Milwaukee's south side in October of 1984. There is a fairly steep grade here that can bring a heavy freight to its knees.

CNW's Eden Turn, powered by a pair of Geeps, switches the yard in Fond Du Lac, WI in March of 1988. The train, led by CNW 4467, will soon head south back to Butler.
