The 2nd in line WC3026 a GP40u carries the special paint scheme for the 150 Anniversary for the state of Wisconsin

WC SD45 #7518, WC SD40 #6001, DWP SD40 #5911, and several other engines sit in one of many deadlines at Homewood. WC 6001 and DWP 5911 are now in the process of being scrapped.

WC 3024 idles through this evening shower. Apparently the crew last night didn't quite make it back to Hawthorne and left this beauty crewless for a day.

This is sad.... a GTW SD40 and several WC SD45s sit parked on the deadline awaiting their date with the scrapper.

The mainstay of Wisconsin Central's locomotive fleet was the SD45R. Here a pair start the climb up Byron Hill with a freshly painted leader.

The infamous Homewood deadline shrinks in size as more and more WC SD45's get parted and relocated to their "death beds."

WC 6587, 1559, and 6590 keep long time resident CN 1443 company outside the shop building.

Back in September, you could still see 3 SD45's together. This has gotten almost impossible now. Long live the WC!

WC SD45 #7500, GT SD40 #5922, and WC SD45 #7581 all sit with long lines of engines, making up the deadline. The majority of the engines are WC SD45s that CN retired.

WC 6002 and 3006 run south through Duplainville Jct. then will head north to service an industry.
