The night gas flies west through Plains under the classic NP cantilevers.

With the sun about to dip behind the mountains, we squeeze out some last light with this loaded coal train heading westbound with a trio of dash 9s for power.

After a 10 mph slow order for several miles, the train is finally back up to speed as they head west through Perma. Not visible in the photo is a MOW truck following on the tail of this train.
