The AVR heads back towards Glenwood on home rails after working the NS interchange at Island Avenue Yard.

With empty hoppers picked up at Evans City, PA in tow, Allegheny Valley Railroad 3003 heads eastbound on the Buffalo & Pittsburgh portion of this line.

AVR 2007 & 2008 are cut off to allow the 3003 to take the lead on the return trip home. The hoppers were left by the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad earlier in the week.

A coal train from the SWP's Bullskin loadout is tied up at Bruceton for the night. Four railroads work together to move this train to a powerplant in Reesedale, PA - SWP, W&LE, AVR, and B&P!

Negotiating one of many tight turns on the P&W sub, AVR 2004 makes it's way home after trading cars with the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad at Bakerstown Pa.

AVR 2008 & 2007 drop off cars for and pick up cars from the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad. AVR 2008 leads the way home glowing in the early morning light.
